TARABA STATE GOVT CONFIRMED THE OUTBREAK OF LASSA FEVER



Taraba State government has affirmed the outbreak of Lassa fever, a deadly viral disease, in the state. Lassa fever is transmitted by infected rodents. The state Commissioner of Health, Innocent Vakkai in a meeting with writers throughout the weekend said;


"One individual passed on and two others isolated and their blood tests have as of now been taken to Irrua Specialists Hospital in Edo State for further affirmation."

Talking on how the viral sickness is reached, Vakkai said
