A secret Nazi base has been reportedly discovered by Russian researchers on Alexandra Land in the Arctic Circle, 1,000 kilometers from the North Pole. Over 500 artifacts related to World War Two have been recovered, including ammunition and military uniforms. The meteorological station was constructed in 1942, one year after Germany invaded Russia, and was abandoned in 1944, Sputnik reported.
